Build The Iron Horse!

We've got ourselves a pair of sparkley steel rails... We've got ourselves a big fancy railway station... But there's something, well, missing?

That's right folks, we're not going to leave brother Jasper scooting up and down those tracks on his little cart, it's time to build us a big ol' proper train to ride those rails!

When you accept the popup it'll start a four mission thread (all details HERE) and, I'm afraid to say a fair bit of crafting that will see us creating a Train, piece by piece (see all crafting details HERE).

The train gets built in five stages next to the current railway station...

We'll also see a number of new additions in the market that will be used during missions.

Any that are Horseshoe purchases will either be on the free gift page...

...or found during missions!

So it's time to make that final thing we need to have a REAL railroad going... the Train!

Invest In Your Future!

We've had premium items before, the Rejuvenation Plant and the Energy Windmill for example, but how many of them have offered to give your Horseshoes back... with interest!?

Say hello to a new breed of flora on the homestead, Frutex Solea Ferrea and Nemus Solea Ferrea, or to give them their common names, the Horseshoe Bush and Horseshoe Tree.

Although expensive, these fine additions to any landscape are known far and wide for their ability to fruit horseshoes once a week, always giving back more than you've paid for it!

In fact, after one year the return is guaranteed to be TWICE what you put in, the Bush costs 260HS but will drop (in weekly batches of 10) 520HS...

...and the Tree which COSTS 520HS will, in the course of 52 weeks, drop a magnificent 1040HS!

In fact, if you buy Horseshoes and there's a 50% discount, you're even looking at a 4-times return on your investment!

We know this won't suit some folks who like their gratification with a little more "instant" but there's not many legal ways to get that kind of payoff, so if you've got yourself the shoes... a little addition to your garden may pay off big time.

[Disclaimer: This is not for the impatient or hedonistic.]

There's Gold in Them Thar Hills...

...and we're gonna get ourselves prepared to go GET IT!

You can't just wander off into bandit country on the search for gold, you gotta git yerself all prepared and ready to hit the Trail with a vengeance (and with good food supplies).

So, set up the wagon to carry some weight, it's preparing time...

There's no building with this one, just 6 missions (three overview and three repeatable missions) and a window to show just how prepared you are.

From here you start the three missions (all details HERE) that will get y'all all set up on the hunt for the yellow stuff...

For a full crafting guide for the missions click HERE.

We'll pick up some special Gold goodies along the way and also find some new market items...

...we'll help out a new animal who's found himself under the weather... well, under the rocks...

...AND an old favourite is gonna become easier to get a hold of, the Badger is now a free gift!

Oh, and y'all know nothings right without a collection, these items drop from opening the prep crates we receive as mission rewards!

It aint gonna be pretty and it aint gonna be easy, but with riches as the reward, it aint never was gonna be...

Celebrating the Bun in Fanny's Oven

Well, it's fair to say Fanny's looking quite a bit... rounder these days (apparently the gestation period for Baby Hank's is the same as your average gerbil) so it's probably time for all the Frontier gals to gather round and hold Fanny a Baby Shower!

Unfortunately, as usual, it seems up to you to make sure things go smoothly or face the wrong end of Granny's wrath, so we know what that means.

Steel yourself, keep a tight grip on the shopping list Bess and Granny have given you and get to work trying to plan a baby shower for the ages... *Examines the shopping list* and apparently a baby shower with a few hundred guests...

It all starts off by placing the Family Park, which just needs one whack to get ready, no building supplies needed.

Once that's done you'll be given all the planning tasks for Fanny's Baby Shower, kicking off a four mission thread (all details HERE) and a set of crafting tasks (all details HERE)

The missions will even give you another chance at some of those limited edition Yosemite items with the new Baby Shower Animal Crate containing Bighorn Sheep, Mink or Bobcat and the Flower crate which can hold Baby Blue Eyes, Alpine Lily or Yellow Sneezeweed.

So get your work boots on and celebrate the pitter patter of coming little feet!

Enjoy a bit of rough...

After the Rejuvenation Plant and the Irrigation Station it's time for the next magical buildable on our homesteads, and this one is going to get you a bit of rough, and best of all, no Horseshoes! This is a homestead buildable.

Yes, it's been teased before but it's finally here, the Debris Generator!

Worry no more about the randomness of debris appearances as you collect your bundles of debris straight into your inventory on a daily basis!

With a pair of simple missions (all details HERE) the Debris Generator wont be too stressing on our homestead and you can start collecting from it even from the first build, although as you work through it's five stages the rewards keep getting better and better! (And the Generator starts looking prettier and prettier...)

Each stage gives you the chance of getting better debris. Stage 1 is wildflowers, stage 2 is rocks, stage 3 skulls, stage 4 cactus and stage 5 is thorns.

Each time you collect the daily bonus you'll get a chance at ALL the debris up to that point, so once you reach the final 5th stage you'll get four items from the five each day, helping stock up your inventory with debris before you know it!

These are the requirements for each of the stages, click the pictures to make them bigger!

So get building, and soon those "harvest so many cactus" or "harvest so many thorns" will be a walk in the debris strewn path!

Get Them Gold Rushers Ready!

Now your Railroad's up and running you're gonna find your homestead gets a lot of visitors on the way to Gold Rush!

Now, being the entrepreneurial spirit you are it's time to take advantage by building yourself a supply outpost!

That outpost will help 5 folks on the road to Gold Rush get stocked up and prepare for the rigours of the road ahead with everything they'll need in their wagon...

It'll all start off with the usual popup (above) and a prompt to place the Supply Outpost. The building has a small footprint and takes no building supplies, one whack and it's done!

Once it's built you'll start yourself off a five mission thread (All details HERE), one mission per character which will include making up them up a supply package inside the Outpost (all crafting details HERE). Finishing that package will gift you a mission reward meaning you get two rewards per mission!

We'll also see the introduction of a number of new items in the market and one free gift!

Plus the obligatory Collection...

AND... In a sneak preview ahead to Gold Rush (The next expansion) we'll also see the Gold Rush Ticket... All together now... Oooooooh...
